Domingão de Pagodin Returns with a Special Edition on the 11th at Praia da Concha

Late on Sunday afternoon, Praia da Concha changes its sound. The sun sinks behind the mouth of the Rio de Contas, the sand is still warm, and from the deck of Corais Beach Lounge the first cavaquinho strikes up what everyone came to hear. Domingão de Pagodin is back on October 11 in a special edition, with five acts and your feet, quite literally, in the sand.

A roda de samba by the sea

Domingão is the pagode gathering that Corais hosts on Itacaré's Sundays: a roda de samba, tables on the sand and the Concha cove as your backdrop. In this edition, Amparo Jr. leads the bands, alongside Fredgard & os Maruís. On the decks, the name of the night is P3, who makes his Itacaré debut and heads up the DJ team with Betinho and Wezz, between the live sets and on into the night.

From the late-afternoon light to the small hours

The beauty of starting early is watching the day end right there. If you arrive at the start, you catch the sunset over the river, secure a spot near the stage and have dinner without leaving the beach. The night carries on with the DJs after the roda wraps up.

Who it's for

For anyone who loves pagode and wants to see Itacaré beyond the trail-and-waterfall circuit. It's a barefoot-on-the-sand party: light clothes, sandals, and the trip back to the pousadas in the center and in Pituba is made on foot or in a few minutes by taxi.
